Engine Technician

Full-time | Red Deer, AB

Diagnose, repair, and rebuild heavy-duty diesel engines accurately and efficiently.
Perform fault-code, electrical, and mechanical diagnostics to identify engine issues.
Complete precision engine overhauls on CAT, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, and PACCAR platforms.
Follow Pro Spec Diesel standards, procedures, and documentation requirements on every repair.
Take ownership of quality workmanship while helping mentor and support developing technicians.

Journeyman Certification or equivalent

Diesel Engine Experience

CAT, Cummins, Detroit & PACCAR Experience

OEM Certifications on 2+ engine platforms

CVIP certification preferred

Strong electronic diagnostics and internal engine repair/rebuilding experience
Valid driver’s licence with an acceptable driving record
Class 3 driver’s licence preferred
Experience with OEM diagnostic software, scan tools, and electronic service information
Experience using digital work-order systems and experience with Fullbay shop management software
Broad experience across multiple diesel engine platforms strongly preferred
Ability to follow Pro Spec Diesel engine standards and repair procedures
Maintain complete and accurate repair documentation
Support and mentor developing technicians
Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Take ownership of repairs and complete work correctly the first time
